The 2024 - 2025 Southwest Division Winter League regular season has completed and the Playoffs were held on Saturday, February 1, 2025 starting at 9:00am. 4 teams from both the Gold and Silver Leagues advanced to a 4-team playoff. Winners and runner's up in each league received trophies to take home. Morning and afternoon (Costco wraps, sandwiches, and potato chips) hospitality was provided.

Playoff Format
Trial bowls for the first match started at 8:55am. Check-in for rink assignments is at 8:30am sharp. Players arrived from 8:00 onwards for practice bowls in a direction perpendicular to the bowls direction. 2 standard Winter League 15-end (5/5/5) Pairs Matches . Winner advanced (or won). A rinks one-end bowl off to break ties (flip to determine mat) was held for the Silver title. A neutral rink was selected with NO TRIAL BOWLS. Winners and runner's up in each league received trophies.

The 2024 - 2025 Southwest Division Winter League regular season began on Saturday, Dec 7th, 2024. Match weeks were as follows: Dec 7, Dec 14, Dec 15, Dec 21, Dec 28, Dec 29, Jan 4, Jan 11, Jan 12, Jan 18, Jan 19, Jan 25. Red dates were rescheduled and/or overflow dates. ne standard Winter League morning 15-end (5/5/5) Rinks Match and 2 afternoon Pairs Matches.

Before your matches:

Phone and or text your opponent's captain or alternate before the match and verify that a) You indeed have a match with said opponent and b) The correct team is driving to the appropriate lawn bowling club.
Teams: a) Assure team members are organized and know where to go. b) Assure team members have scorecards printed out on card stock. c) Traveling teams bring your own lunch!
If you happen to be playing at Santa Anita LBC, LA County requires you to sign a Liability Waiver to bowl on their greens. Each competitor please download one, print it out, sign it, bring it with you to Santa Anita, and give it to someone who looks important.

After your matches, all captains (both winning and losing):
